Employment Eligibility Verification provides information regarding work authorization of newly hired employees. This is administered through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements Program (SAVE) which enables employers to obtain immigration status information they need in order to determine applicants' eligibility for employment. This search is performed after the completion of the Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) and it provides separate verification checks of databases maintained by the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Department of Homeland Security. The program requires that the search be done within three business days of hiring an applicant. This search can be obtained by sending us the applicant's Form I-9 and we will return the information to you via facsimile or e-mail. This is a post hire search. It can not be used for pre-employment purposes. |
